I strongly oppose this venture . There are so many reasons for this not to be done at this location. There are so many other places that could be used which would be way more suitable and not threatening to the surrounding environment. The water usage the traffic the toll on the road that is not built for heavy traffic, the disturbance to the meditation sanctuary which has been there for decades disturbed. Please do not approve this venture. I wish this person well but not at this location.
I am in opposition to this venture. The federal government is ordering California to cut water usage by 20%. Cannabis crops require excessive water resources that will deplete the area ecosystems which are integral to this habitat.
I am about the purchase a home here and am concerned about the future of the land here. Please take precautions to limit excessive water loss in this area. Please do not allow this permit and recommend other better suited locations for this business venture.

The short and long-term impacts from that level of increased water use for a cash crop, as well as the immediate negative impact on the quality of life for all of us who live in this area, are significant. Dear Board of Supervisors I opposing the planned PL 26-357. It is irresponsible to allow more use of water growing drugs. This will negatively impact the existing ecosystem. I hope the Board of Supervisors will consider the wise use of water and the protection of native ecosystems .
I OPPOSE the use permit application for the Seigler Springs LLC project because it endangers the precious headwater that supports the flora, fauna, and wildlife of this mountain top area. The natural beauty of the county is one of its greatest highlights, and to take advantage of that for monoculture industrial farming is a great disservice to the place. Please DENY this proposal.
I have built a house here. We already have an enlarging Pasta Farms. What did we in this neighborhood do to deserve another faceless, soulless corporation whose only purpose is to enrich its stakeholders at the expense of our environment? And basically next door to the existing cannabis grow. Please say no.

It feels very irresponsible to allow yet another cannabis grow--which is not agriculture; it is a drug-- to use the water here, the most precious resource on the planet. Using this proposed water will deny water downstream for the precious and delicate ecosystems that are integral to this habitat.
I am a nearby resident of this proposed site and I actively participate in preserving the local watershed here where I work at a local nonprofit. Please do not allow this permit and preserve the precious water source we have.
I live nearby. My wife and I frequently walk on North Seigler Road. We very much appreciate the quiet. A commercial cannabis grow will add traffic, consume valuable (and diminishing) water resources, and disturb the quiet of the are which is principally a residential, non-commercial neighborhood. Please don't let that happen.
the location of this facility at the top of this beautiful mountain would tap into a well at the headwaters of the stream running down into Seigler Canyon and deprive the residents and visitors of the long-established sanctuary below of sufficient water, as well as destroying precious trees that are an essential part of the ecosystem of the Seigler Springs area. This is not an appropriate location for any kind of commercial development, especially one making so much use of the precious water and forest resources. Please protect the water, land and resources of the property in question by not granting a permit for developing a cannabis grow. The location of this property exposes the Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary Core and taps a well at the headwaters of the creek which runs through the Sanctuary (Seigler Canyon Creek). Access to the property requires use of an easement across Sanctuary property. I have served and gone on meditation retreat at this Sanctuary for over 50 years. Please help to keep it safe and drought free.
