4.1 25-6709:00 A.M. - PUBLIC HEARING - Consideration of Recommended Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26 for County of Lake and Special Districts Governed by the Board of Supervisors
Regarding WATER RESOURCES Zone #8 Upper Middle Creek Basin Fund 208 Budget Unit 8108: I have a few questions as I am unable to be at these meetings until 2:30pm each day. 1. Where in this budget Unit is the Caltrans mitigation project funds to repair the ever-increasing in size scouring/sluffing of the levee channel between Elk Mountain Rd. Bridge and the Middle Creek confluence? 2. Where in this budget unit is the Caltrans mitigation project funds to engineer the repair of this scouring/sluffing? 3. Where in this budget Unit is the Caltrans mitigation project funds to removed vegetative dams in this area of the scouring/sluffing? 4. Where in this budget unit are the funds to extract gravel from the levee channel, which is a requirement for maintenance of this levee system and a requirement of the County approved Aggregate Management Plan that is not being followed? 5. If any of the answers to questions 1-4 are located in a different budget unit, please provide the answers to questions 1-4 during that different budget unit discussion.
