As stated in the COTF Roster of COTF appointments per your Board, the South County seat is intended to serve as a community seat, not filled with an applicant in the cannabis business as two of these applicants are. This seems to be made clear in the Lake County Conflict of Interest statement as well.

I support the appointment of Jesse Cude, Angela Amaral, and/or Margaux Kambara for a position on the Cannabis Ordinance Task Force. Chris Jennings and Autumn Kearney are in the cannabis business and either of their appointment would violate the county's conflict of interest policy. We need a balanced task force that represents the community as a whole.

There needs to be a fair balance In the COTF group. The group should consist of individuals who are not in the cannabis industry as well as some in the cannabis industry. There needs to be a fair representation of both sides. I recommend and support Jesse Cude, Angela Amaral and Margaux Kambara.

Cannabis Ordinance Task Force should be comprised of a variety of lake county representatives to achieve a balance of opinions. Have you heard of the saying “fox in the hen house”? Two of the candidates wishing appointment as resident representatives are actually in the cannabis industry. These candidates do not represent me. Why have a COTF if it is just represented by the cannabis industry.
Absolutely no on : Autumn Karcey and Chris Jennings
Yes I recommend and support: Jesse Cude, Angela Amaral, and Margaux Kambara

COTF is supposed to be an advisory body balanced between public and cannabis industry representatives and for this reason I would ask the Board to appoint Jesse Cude as a representative to the Cannabis Ordinance Task Force. His work ethic and dedication to the county is well known and will bring a balance to the task force and he will not gain financially from cannabis as some others that are applying will.
