5.11 23-517Second Reading - Adopt Ordinance Amending Chapter 5 of the Lake County Code relating to Exempt Agricultural Building Permitting for Temporary Hoop Structures for Cannabis Cultivation
The current California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) regulations require all structures to be permanent. There is no longer an exception for cultivation.
DCC 15000.3(f) - All structures included as part of the licensed premises shall be permanent structures. Structures that are considered permanent structures include, but are not limited to, buildings, barns, sheds, shipping containers, and modular buildings. Structures that are not considered to be permanent structures include, but are not limited to, structures that rest on wheels or any structure that can be readily moved.
