Initial Study (I.S.) states no trees removed. Staff conditions mandate, all trees within 30 feet of buildings be removed. This removal will include most of the scenic threshold screening trees, est. 20-40 trees.
10-inch solid drainage pipe will significantly altering drainage into the vernal pools. If this pipe is to be placed on the ground, it will be impossible to drive and park on top of this pipe without significant earth work. If buried below existing grade, this pipe may reverse flow vernal pool feeder waters.
I.S. incorrectly states the site will be served by public sewer. Proposed septic drain fields are in areas of standing water.
I.S. states a spring site assessment to confirm no sensitive plants or animals and this is not listed as a condition of approval.
