I have attached a copy of the staff report from Oakland, which they are sending to their state legislators calling for state cannabis cultivation tax reform. This follow actions by numerous other cities and counties, including Mendocino, San Francisco and Mono (and pending in Sonoma today). The industry is on the verge of collapse and it is vital that Lake County weigh in or risk losing dozens of our largest tax generators. The Governor's office supports this effort, as does State Senator Mike McGuire, but they are waiting to hear from the counties.
