On behalf of the Lake County Cannabis Alliance, we will continue to support projects that meet the requirements of regulations set forth in Article 27. We have attached a letter opposing this appeal based upon its compliance with State and Local ordinances.

I support the appeal AB 21-04 and oppose use permit UP 21-10. This operation was slammed into our quiet valley community and has caused nothing but stress and wide-spread nuisances for the valley residents. We are fed up with the constant noise, 24/7 activity, trash, stinky weed smell, cars and trucks coming and going at all hours of the day and night, the lies, and flagrant disregard of the county codes and the rules set forth in their project plan. STOP APPROVING THESE HUGE CANNABIS GROWS WITHOUT AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT! The Planning Commission failed us by not taking our firsthand experiences and complaints seriously and requiring an EIR on this project. Do not ruin the beauty and serenity of our homes by putting money over the health, safety, and welfare of the public; approve the appeal and deny the use permit. Thank you.

My name is Thomas Edmonds and I am in support of Appeal AB 21-04 of the Planning Commission Approval of Major Use Permit UP 21-10.
I am a retired firefighter, EMT, Certified Fire Investigator, former Chair of the Lake County Arson Task Force with the Clearlake Oaks Fire Protection District/Northshore Fire Protection District and CalFIRE. The sheer volume of traffic traveling in and out of High Valley is concerning. I've driven the road almost daily, morning and evening, for over 10 years and now I've witnessed activity operating around the clock as well as numerous semi-trucks blocking the roadway and causing a hazard to the residents in terms of safe access. As an experienced responder, I know that every second counts and a roadway blockage could mean the difference between life and death. This has been going on for months with no discernible schedule. The residents in the valley are looking to you to protect their properties, rights, and well-being. Please deny UP21-10
