4.1 21-744 EXTRA ITEM: (a) Consideration of "extra" agenda item, and, (b) Adopt Urgency Ordinance Requiring all Persons, Regardless of Vaccination Status, Wear Face Coverings in County Facilities
I strongly support the urgency ordinance as being a necessary and prudent step to fight the Covid surge in Lake County. Bold steps by other state/local government agencies and private employers are urgently needed as well, including mask mandates in all indoor settings open to the public regardless of vaccination status. #MaskUp #VaxUp #SaveLives
I urge all Supervisors to approve the masking ordinance for County Facilities. I furthermore urge them to mandate masks indoors county wide in all indoor spaces. With the ER being above census we are treading in dangerous waters.
Masks should not only be required in County facilities, but in all indoor locations in Lake County. I'd also like for more people to be vaxxed. I'd like to be relatively safe where I live.
