    We oppose the issuance of this Major Use Permit for all the reasons set forth in our neighbor, Petra Bergstrom's, letter. I don't believe the staff report reflects the actual impact to neighboring properties. We believe this project would have a remarkably negative impact. There are many other lands within the county that would be better suited to this and other potential cannabis projects. We are currently experiencing an extreme drought year and we are VERY concerned about our well and the neighboring properties wells. We are aware of one well on Highland Springs Rd. that has already gone dry. We ask that you please take our concerns and those of our neighbors, into consideration.

    Concerned about water and the negative impact on the general area as far as having a big operation as planned being very unsightly and causing disturbances in the neighborhood with traffic, noise etc. There must be other areas more suitable .

    I am opposed to this "Major use Permit" be issued. In addition to the issues in the letter below, I am also concerned about the increase in traffic around Highlands springs Rd. Please read my letter attached.
