I highly support the applicant, Ghost Dance, LLC to obtain this Major Use Permit. The applicant has been proactive in obtaining a state license to cultivate cannabis through the California Department of Food and Agriculture. The applicant has also engaged in many community organizations including the Lake County Cannabis Alliance and is committed to compliant cannabis cultivation and being an active part of a thriving Lake County.

I have visited the location and it is well kept, capable of handling this amount of cultivation, and a welcome addition to the community. Additionally, the applicant is committed to water conservation and has the capacity to meet needs for this cultivation.

Dear Commissioners, Our family lives in Hidden Valley Lake, close to the proposed cultivation facility. We are very happy to have land stewards like the applicants for Ghost Dance Ranch leading the way on cannabis cultivation in the county. They have been excellent neighbors, community members, and business owners so far. They have transformed an unsafe fire hazard to a well maintained property highlighting native flora, while bringing in needed revenue to the county. We enthusiastically support the project!

On Jerusalem Grade, my home and my property are within the nearest neighbor zone, as identified within the permit application for Ghost Dance LLC.  I am pleased and excited to provide positive comments to the Board.
Since receiving notification of intention to permit, I have personally visited the Ghost Dance site, and have met with principals, staff and consultants.  I can address the issue(s) as a neighbor in a brightly positive light.
It is clearly obvious that Ghost Dance LLC  has purposely and wisely surrounded its entity with industry knowledgeable associates and consultations. As a neighbor I have maximum confidence this business model and undertaking is designed  for compliance and sustainability.
Ghost Dance LLC will be a right and proper neighbor, a member of our community and a part in the industry that IS going to exemplify Lake County.

I have known the applicant on a professional basis for almost two decades. As the founder of the Silicon Valley Cannabis Alliance, I have had the privilege of working with the operator of Ghost Dance Ranch in his other role as a consultant in the cannabis industry for the last 10 years. He has worked to ensure that people are working in a licensed, taxed and equitable manner and I can assure you that he will bring the highest standards to his operation in Lake County. I fully support this application and believe that he will be an asset to the community.

I feel it is important to support and nurture the smaller growers who are part of the community and not just big ag. Not to mention the sorely needed revenue stream these grows are infusing into our county economy and coffers
