There is need for better cell service in the area of the Riviera. There is inadequate coverage and spotty service in many areas. Not just for fires but for winter storms like we just had with snow in areas that didn't usually get as much as they didn.
The safety concerns of fire danger and making sure that all brush in the area is cleared by Horizon and other local neighbors is a concern as well. As a community we need to make sure we are all take part to do our part to clear brush.
The county needs to be more proactive with Home Owners Associations and Home Owners to enforce the brush clearing by all residents in the county. It's not right that some take on the burden to clear others who are not be responsible land owners.
