3 21-202 9:15 A.M. - (Continued from February 25, 2021) PUBLIC HEARING to Discuss and Consider Zoning Text Amendment (AM 20-02) to Article 27 of the Lake County Zoning Ordinance pertaining to the Cultivation of Commercial Cannabis. The applicant is the COUNTY OF LAKE.
The agriculture land that has been chosen for exclusion zone is the best land for natural resources to grow cannabis that lake county has to offer. With lake county having such a unique topographic terrain, most of the rural land that has outdoor growing on it does not easily support the outdoor area needed to grow outdoor cannabis. So I oppose the ordinance however I am willing toad just my project to work with my neighbors if that is the route the county chooses to take. thank you
